About Us

VISION

In May 2020, CEO & Founder Jessica Esver identified there is a need to address the systemic issue of poverty occurring in USA and began formalizing the Communities Uniting to Eliminate Poverty Organization (CUEPO). On November 7, 2022, the California Secretary of State approved our non-profit organization and is now a recognized non-profit organization. 

The Communities Uniting to Eliminate Poverty Organization (CUEPO) wants to sustain a society where all Americans living in the United States of America are being treated fairly in being financially stable. Our country’s number one priority must be to promote the welfare of all Americans. CUEPO focuses on teaming with organizations and businesses to fulfill the most important factor impacting the welfare of Americans which is to be financially stable. CUEPO also advocates for community members and career professionals to live in safe and healthy environments. 

It is important for all members of our society to be able to interact peacefully with one another in any type of environment, and especially for all members to uphold the integrity of deliberating fairly among a diverse population of participants. CUEPO will sustain working environments where all people can comfortably regulate their emotions which highly impacts people’s capacity to perform at an optimal level, producing feedback, innovative and creative solutions to ameliorate social and economic issues that cause poverty to exist. 

MISSION

 The Communities Uniting to Eliminate Poverty Organization’s (CUEPO) goal is to ensure all Americans are receiving the resources available to afford paying their cost-of-living expenses and the ability to save money. The organization will establish a network of supporters to sustain financial resources offered by the community. The staff will focus on implementing the following principles to eliminate poverty: Advocating, Teaming and Campaigning to Eliminate Poverty. CUEPO will advocate and promote healthy and safe environments among our employees, and partnership organizations who facilitate project initiatives, and as well develop safe and healthy programming for community members seeking our services.  

Advocating to Eliminate Poverty

We strongly believe it is important to sustain the welfare of all Americans, especially those who are unemployed. CUEPO will invest time and allocate funds for staff to effectively provide guidance to all Americans that are experiencing an inequity of customer service from Social Services and the Employment Development Departments.

Teaming to Eliminate Poverty

We understand, in order to achieve outcomes, it will be imperative our staff prioritizes working together with local community businesses and organizations, especially state and local agencies such as Education institutions, Social Services Department, Treasury Department, and Employment Development Department to leverage social and monetary capital resources for the community. Our organization will work seamlessly with partners to be the solution ensuring the welfare of all Americans. 

Campaigning to Eliminate Poverty

We recognize the importance of enacting laws and policies related to sustaining financial stability for all Americans. We will lead and as well support partners in eliminating poverty in our country. CUEPO will participate in conducting research, form the General Board of Directors Meetings with community members and career professionals, and participate in lobbying activities policies to achieve our mission.
